It was surprising how quiet a forest could get when a predator entered it, even when they were in sheep's clothing. When the small blond girl entered the forest, it had gone quiet. However, once the girl seemed to continue exploring with uninterest in anything, the birds continued to chatter. A smile spread across her delicate face at that, the girl was glad to hear the birds again. The natural sounds of the forest calmed her restlessness. Unusual for a fourteen year old in a forest but Hana had never been a normal girl even before she had met her older sister and lupe mother Belle.
Hana shook her head, doing her best to not think of that now. She would end up crying and the girl didn't want anyone to see her blue eyes fill up with tears. Her sister always tried her best to not look weak and she would do the same. For Belle's sake, she would be strong. Even if she missed the sixteen... No... It would twenty two year old now. They have been separated for so long... Six years... The fourteen year old slumped down on a large branch that jutted out on the slight path between trees, forgetting her own little promise ot herself.
The tears ran down the girl's cheeks as she thought of the older werewolf. She missed her... The onyl person who had truly been family. It was especially prominant now that they were officially separated by distance. Before, Hana had been close to where the older girl was, even when her parents moved her to a new school. Now, however, there was a long distance between where ever providence was and where Belle lived. She couldn't help but feel that terrible ache and loneliness. She couldn't help but feel lost in this forest without her pack member.
Her wolf stirred within her a bit as she wrapped her arms around her legs. She was glad no one was around, she didn't want to talk about why she was crying. She had been here for two days and the few people who had met her already thought she was very positive even though she wouldn't speak. She didn't want to wreak it for them. She didn't want to make them think of her as a mongrel like her parents did or be ignored. Hana didn't want to appear weak.
She quickly brushed away her tears from her face, figuring she had cried long enough. She had not been loud about it. All there had been to show her crying was her red face, the shaking of her shoulders when she cried and the shining of tears on her face. She was used to hiding her crying, as much as she was used to hiding the scars underneath her long sleeved black sweater. She plucked at the sweater with her fingers before letting her hand fall lightly on her jean covered legs in a relaxed position. This was after she let her legs hang down to give her balance. Then she simply listened to the sound of the animals as they went back to their business.

Capri was wandering around in the forest. She had been bored earlier and decided to take a walk, somehow ending up in the forest. She seemed to always end up in the forest. She just couldn't help it, she loved the forest, it reminded her of home and her clearing. She missed them both, mostly her clearing. She always felt happy and at peace there. Even so, she was glad she left. She had missed her sister, Cameo, terribly and was so happy to be back with her again. They've always been close.
She hummed quietly to herself as she walked, one hand playing with the locket Cameo had given her while she used the other to play with fire. She smirked. She loved that phrase. Only with her, it was in the literal sense. She snapped her fingers, igniting a spark, as if her fingers were a lighter or match. She smiled, making the flame dance around her fingers.
Looking around she sighed happily. She loved the forest with all its sounds and creatures. She looked up and saw two squirrels playing on a tree branch above her head. She laughed as she watched them. She watched them for a few more seconds before smiling happily and continuing her walk. She stopped humming, thinking she had heard something. She didn't hear anything else though and figured it must have been some animal or something. She kept walking but was more aware of her surroundings now.
She stopped when she saw she wasn't alone anymore. She smiled kindly at the girl, blowing out the flame and walking up to her. She didn't know the girl but she seemed to be about 13 or 14, so Capri decided to go introduce herself, thinking maybe she could make a new friend since she wasn't really close with anyone here except her sister.
She walked up to the girl. "Hi, I'm.." She trailed off when she saw the girls face. It was red as if she'd been crying. "..Capri..?" She finished somewhat quietly and defiantly not as happy, she sounded more confused now. She said it as if it were a question even though it was her own name.
She didn't care though, she was more worried about the girl than how stupid she might sound. "Hey, you ok?" She asked, concerned. "I don't know if you want to be alone or not but you look like you could use a friend and.. well I'm happy to that friend. That is.." She looked at her and smiled slightly. "..if you'll let me."
She hoped that the girl would let her help. She didn't like seeing people hurt or upset, even if she didn't know them. Unless they really deserved it and she was the on causing it. She was pretty sure neither of those were the case though. So, she calmly waited for her response.

Hana was startled very much when the girl had walked up to her. She had been a bit distracted by her thoughts and by the soothing sounds of the animals calling to each other. Now, she wasn't soothed though. In fact, she had actually fallen off the branch she was sitting on and nearly fell on her back. But she had grabbed the branch and it allowed her to do a complicated flip which made it so she was hiding behind the branch. She brushed her hair, making it seem like she had done it purposely and looking calm.
She had heard the introduction though and tilted her head to listen to the girl. There was a bit of an animalistic quality with Hana for the moment but she was very slowly gaining human qualities back. You could tell with how her head showed a bit more, her blue eyes looking at the other girl. She leaned against the branch as the girl continued to talk with her hair brushing against the branch. When the girl finished, she took a few moments before she nodded and smiled in a way which made her look very bright. Hana wanted friends and would love to be friends with the girl.
Hana was wondering if she should do more then decided maybe to introduce herself. But she wasn't very good at speaking, she didn't speak much. It was a self imposed thing but it didn't take away any of the damaging effects of not speaking for long points in time on the vocal cords. She could use her note pad in her pant pocket but she would rather not use that. It was a bit strange, specially for a first meeting. Hana took a moment where she seemed like she was trying to speak but couldn't. She rolled her eyes at herself and put her finger up to say to wait one moment.
"Hana." She said quietly finally, her voice slightly raspy. "I don't speak much." She said this short sentence then took out her note pad and wrote on it. She then showed it to the girl. I have a self imposed silence on myself in protest against my parents. I figured it was a bit weird to not at least try to speak to you with the introduction... Her face held a light blush and she looked down as she held the note pad out to Capri.

Capri smiled back at the other girl, watching her curiously. She seemed like she was having trouble speaking. Capri wondered if she was alright but before she could ask the girl rolled her eyes and held up a finger, telling Capri to hold on.
When the girl, Hana, finally spoke her voice was raspy from under-use. Capri wanted to ask how com she didn't speak much but suddenly Hanna took out a note pad and started writing on it. Curious, Capri waited patiently until Hana had finished writing.
Capri read what she wrote and looked up at Hanna, who was looking down. Capri could see that she had a light blush on her face. She didn't understand why Hana was blushing. She thought it was really cool.
Capri smiled brightly at her. "That's so awesome! I don't think I could ever go without talking for an extended period of time. I can talk enough for the both of us. " She said with a laugh. "That's so cool that you've gone without speaking. It's amazing actually, most people I know wouldn't make it like a day." She smiled at Hana. She was truly amazed that Hana had gone, judging from how she talked, a very long time without speaking.
"So, since you don't talk I should only stick to yes or no questions, I guess. But first I just have to ask one thing." She bit her lip. "You don't have to answer it though if it makes you uncomfortable. If it does make you uncomfortable you so have my permission to hit me with your note pad and we can forget I asked in the first place." She smiled. "But, anyway, how come your protesting your parents?"

Hana just smiled as she listened to the other person talk. Capri seemed like she was nice even if she did talk a lot. But Hana didn't mind talking as long as she wasn't the one doing it. It was nice to listen to the voice of someone who didn't find you annoying or bothersome. Or just generally hearing a voice at all. Her house was as silent as a tomb most of the time anyways now that she stopped speaking and even before she had, they didn't talk more then necessary... In fact, written word has probably increased the amount of talking just from her parents complaining about it.
When Capri commented about the yes or no questions, she nodded. It was easier unless the girl wanted to wait a bit for her to write down the more complicated answers. She gave a silent laugh when Capri said she could hit the girl with a note pad if the question was too personal. When she asked the question though, she could see why the girl had offered. Actually, she was more likely to break down then anything else explaining that. But since Hana refused to show weakness, she would instead answer it. She didn't mind either, it was the first time someone asked about it rather then just assuming she was rebelling for the sake of rebelling or protesting something stupid. Were most of her age group so stupid that all of them were assumed to be the same? The fourteen year old sincerely hoped not.
She started to write down the answer on her note pad, her tongue sticking out a bit. Her head was tilted to the side, allowing her long wavy hair to fall like a coppery waterfall. When she finished, she handed the note pad for the other girl to read. This is the first time someone has asked me that rather then assume I'm just rebelling for the sake of rebelling. My first reason is because my parents just in general don't care about me except for status reasons. The second is because they took me away from my big sister Luna. She was the only one who cared about me and protected me from the bigger kids. They told her I died and since they refuse to let me return to her, I refuse to speak.

Capri watched as Hana started to write her answer, she smiled at her sticking her tongue out a bit when while she wrote. When she finished writing she had the notepad to Capri. Capri read what Hana had written, her brow furrowing slightly. The more Capri read the angrier she got. She hadn't known Hana long but from what she could tell, and she's a pretty good judge of character, Hana didn't deserve any of this.
The worst part for Capri was reading that she had been kept from her sister. Capri knew firsthand what it was like to be kept from her sister but at least her sister still knew she was alive. This was completely vile and horrible. She couldn't imagine Cameo thinking she was dead or the other way around. It made her sad just to think of it. She could never fully know what it feels like but she could somewhat understand. She knew Hana wasn't the type to rebel just for the sake of it.
Capri looked up at Hana and reached over, hugging her. She quickly pulled back because she didn't know if Hana was the type who would like hugging she didn't really seem like it. She looked her dead in the eye and said, "I'll help you in any way I can so that you and your sister are reunited. What your parents did is wrong and horrible and I won't let them get away with keeping you apart. I promise and I never make a promise that I don't intend to or don't think I"ll be able to keep. I know we can do this, if we try." She looked at her, determinedly. She was going to help any possible way she could.
She took a deep breath. "Okay, first thing. Do you have any idea where your sister might be?"

Hana felt guilty for being happy Capri was angry. But really, she was glad the older girl was angry for her. She was starting to wonder if her self imposed silence was stupid, after all, it had been seven years. But the other girl didn't know that or that Hana's big sister was not actually her big sister. But it didn't matter, it was the thought and feeling that counted. She spent two years knowing her big sister and having her the only one who cared. Then she was taken away ... It made her angry and sad. A tear went down her face while on those thoughts.
Capri hugged her and she jumped at the unfamiliar sensation but it was comforting and she was glad the girl did it. Although, she was equally glad that Capri didn't continue with it. She would've probably started crying hard in the other girl's arms. Now, she could at least try to keep herself appearing strong. Her eyes widened as Capri looked right into her eyes and then listened as the girl promised to help her be reunited with her big sister. She only had one thing she really wanted to say at the declaration and the belief in her. "Thank you." she told the other girl, hugging her back in a hesitant way to show her thanks. Her thanks for believing ehr and for wishing to help.
When the older girl asked if she knew where her sister was, she shook her head. Then she decided she needed to write down what she did know. Big sister Luna lived in an orphanage nearby my boarding school. It was in a medium sized town in Canada but it's been seven years... I don't know if she has moved or died... That got her crying again and she covered her face with her long hair as she handed the note pad over but brought it back quickly when she suddenly remembered something. She wrote that extra part on quickly then gave it back with a bit of a blush and a sorry look. I signed myself up with her name rather then my parent's name so I would remember. Her last name is Fitzgerald and her first name is Belle.

Capri smiled slightly when Hana thanked and hesitantly hugged her. She was even more sure of it now that helping Hana is the right thing to do. She was definitely invested now. She felt a protectiveness coming over her for the younger girl.
Capri started to reach for the notepad, deciding to try to ignore her tears for right then since Hana was trying so hard to stay strong and Capri didn't have the heart to ruin that for her. But then Hana quickly pulled it back towards herself, adding more on. Capri patiently waited for Hana to finish writing, keeping silent and watching her expressions.
When Hana handed her the notepad again she was blushing and had a sorry look on her face. Capri smiled at her, trying to put her at ease and convey that there was no need to be sorry. Capri then turned her attention to the notepad, reading what Hana wrote with a furrowed brow.
She bit her lip while she thought. She looked back at Hana. "Okay, well first thing we should do is check the orphanage. Do you have any idea what's called? We could... I don't know, we could call them up or something, find out if she's still there. Something." She looked Hana in the eyes again, letting her know how serious she is about this. "We will get her back for you. I promise."
She smiled at Hana encouragingly. "Your brilliant for thinking of taking her last name. Purely genius. Having a full name will make this a lot easier. And now you have me helping you too. Your not in this alone anymore. I'm here for you now and always." She held out her hand for Hana to shake, as if she was making a deal of some sort because she wanted Hana to know she wasn't kidding. So, she was sealing the deal with a handshake. It made more sense in her mind than if actually explained, like most things involving Capri but oddly enough it usually works.
Hana tilted her head, watching as Capri read the note, her brow furrowed. Was there something wrong or was she just thinking? Since she really couldn't tell that, she would just not think worst case scenario. Besides, it was silly of her when the other girl had already shown that she wanted to help. Would she think the same if she knew fully about her? The blond haired girl hoped so, it would sadden her if the older girl didn't because Hana was a wolf or something like that. She couldn't really help that nor could Belle. She could still worry though...
She was drawn out of her thoughts by Capri talking. When she asked if Hana had any idea what the orphanage was called, she shook her head. She had no clue, Belle never talked about it although she was very fond of it before the matron died. She gained a thoughtful expression at that and tried to remember where the orphanage had been situated at the very least. I think it was in Toronto though.... Hana wrote down from the other girl to read. She mostly remembered that because it was a very big city and there were enough things that happened in the city that her parents were always checking up on the news.
Hana gave a blush at the compliment from Capri. She was glad to have been called brilliant by someone and ducked down her head so her face was covered by her long curly hair. But she wasn't fast enough to hide the fact she was beaming. She was so rarely complimented that she loved being complimented. However, she also was a bit embarassed by it. She gave a nod at the girl's confirmation that she would help Hana with finding her big sister Luna. She then raised her head and shook Capri's hand with the smile still on her face. It lit up her face and gave her a very radiant appearence.
