Overall: Nathaniel (or Nate, as his friends all call him) Is a very complex person; one can think they have him all figured out and then he’ll do something that is completely out of character for him. He always seems to be thinking or daydreaming, which causes him to miss out on important things because of his lack of attention. He is an avid reader and contains a large amount of what he reads, though he doesn’t flaunt his knowledge to others but instead would rather keep it to himself rather than share. From an early age, Nate learned to cringe away from pain and suffering, having to watch his mother suffer an unforgivable curse. His family tried to explain to him that she was fine, but Nate could never fully escape the look on his mother’s face as it contorted into pain.
~ History~
Family
Blood Status: Pure Blood
Parents: Kaleb and Morgana Wright
Siblings: Selena Wright (older sister, 18) Shane Wright (older brother, 25)
Other: Thomas Wright(uncle) Tamara ‘Lang’ Wright(aunt) Steven Garner (uncle) Margret ‘Wright’ Garner (aunt)
History: Kaleb Wright always said that the reason Nathaniel was so strange, with books under his nose constantly and hardly ever sharing his information was because of his strange birthday. In all of his years Kaleb had never known anyone to be born on the leap day. He wasn’t sure if he saw this as a curse or blessing to his son, but either way he figured his son must be special. And Nathaniel was special, in a certain way that is. The way he could retain any sort of information was astounding and all of his family loved to hear about things from him, but he rarely liked to share his knowledge, he felt it was a waste of time to try and explain to people the things he figured out. But other than this minor hurdle in the way, Nathaniel was a loving child and constantly did everything in his power to help around the house.
When he was about seven or eight years old, Nathaniel learned the true meaning of pain, and not just that sharp pain of scraping his knee in the garden. It was chaos, one night as people were screaming down below in the streets; Nate woke up with a start, running to his window to see what was wrong. He saw his father down below and some other man he didn’t recognize but thought looked just vaguely familiar. His mother’s shadow he could see was being cast from the doorway, along with two others that he knew were his sister and brother. Nate watched curiously as the unknown man talked to his father in a sneer and kept motioning to his mother and siblings. Out in the streets there were other men and women keeping back screaming onlookers with their wands drawn.
Nathaniel’s eye were brought back to his family though as he heard someone scream, then saw his mother pushing toward his father, the other man seemed to be in the middle of talking. The unknown man snarled, as Morgana Wright pushed her husband away from him, but the man’s wand went from Kaleb, quickly to Morgana, and said the words Nathaniel now has burned into his skull. Crucio! In seconds Nate’s mother was writhing on the ground, screaming. After that, Nathaniel doesn’t remember much. But his mother survived and he swore he would never let that happen to her again. He never found out who the man that cursed his mother was, but he intends to find out just that.

RP Sample: Lounging lazily in one of the many cozy chairs of the library, Nathaniel sat with book in hand as usual but his thoughts were far from those of muggle customs. They were on a very pretty girl he had seen the day before in town, her copper skin had glinted in the sun, making her all the more beautiful. Nate shook his head as if the remove all of his thoughts, with his tests coming up he couldn’t spend his studying time thinking about a girl that probably didn’t even know he existed. With a grunt he went back to his reading.
Later that day Nathaniel was again roaming through town when he saw the girl from before. This time it was through the window of the bookstore. She looked rather frustrated as she scanned the shelves until finally sitting at one of the tables and laying her head down into her arms. Nathaniel was torn; should he go in and try and help? Or should he just leave her, maybe she didn’t want company at the moment; maybe she wanted to be alone. There were many times Nate wanted to be alone and felt frustrated if someone came up to him wanting to help. All this ran through his mind as he stood at the window of the bookstore, trying to make up his mind.
