Overall: Keith is the type of person you feel safe with regardless of your association. There something charming about him and his southern drawl only draws you in further. Growing up in the southern half of the United States gave him the demeanor of a southern gentleman. Regardless of where he is he makes sure the ladies with him are protected as well as completely charmed by his small town outlook on life. He does all the small things, like pulling out chairs opening doors, making sure the lady is on the inside of the sidewalk and his smile is the icing on the cake.
There is an inner strength he carries with him, he has to be in his line of work. Dragon taming has always been something Keith was drawn to, in school he excelled in potions, defense against the dark arts and was fairly popular amongst his friends, Keith always has an answer, and always had an excuse. He’s a fairly smooth talker and has a way of talking himself out of almost anything. There is also an extremely dark violent side to him and he can often be found drinking his troubles away before pounding the snot out of some jerk at a bar.

History: Keith is a southern boy born and raised, he has the charm of a good old boy and the mind of one educated with the best education money can buy. Growing up he was the apple of his father’s eye. Being the first and only boy, his father took him hunting, fishing and almost everywhere a young boy could possibly go with his father. This sparked his interest in creatures and other unsavory things. Keith was always well liked wherever he went and he and his sisters are something akin to the three musketeers. In school the friendship between the siblings started to fall apart as his popularity increased he began to neglect his family, being more concerned with the next party and not his sisters’ nightmares.
The added tension at home drove Keith away from his family by the time he graduated he was ready to head off to Romania and Lithuania to work as an apprentice to a handler he met while in school. The second he started he knew this was his calling and he spent the next 10 years working under someone and learning everything he possibly could about Dragons. When he was in his late twenties he got into the not so legitimate business of creature trafficking and trading. It made up for the money he wasn’t making as a handler and it he was able to use his knowledge and love for the creatures he was trading to good use. After being caught in Romania for selling a dragon egg to an undercover auror he went on the run. Finding the sleepy little town of Providence a perfect place to blend in.

RP Sample: The morning washed over the room and Keith groaned as he walked across the plush carpet of the hotel room. Living out of his suitcase was getting old but he was in no real position to put down roots. He had never been the type to settle down, and at this point he probably never would. There had a been a few who seemed to think they could make him the marrying kind but he often ended up breaking their heart and moving on. There was no real reason for it but he found himself abandoning the idea of having a family. He turned the faucet and splashed the cold water on his face and pulled a t-shirt over his head.
There wasn’t much in the small town he had ended up in but he figured exploration was the best idea. Who knows, he could find himself starting to like the little place. Grabbing his wallet he headed out the door and found himself outside much quicker than he expected. Either he was walking faster or the hotel was shrinking. The breeze felt nice and he smiled as he headed downtown. There was something charming about the place and he thought his mother would really like it. Under better circumstances he would have invited her up for a visit. Stepping off the curb to cross the street he found himself colliding with someone who happened to be carrying some sort of blue goop. Looking down the front of his t-shirt he glared at the person shrinking away from him and sighed. “God bless America.” He did his best to get the goop off but it was too late it had stained his shirt and possibly ruined his day.
