PERSONALITY
Disdain: self absorbed people, Harry Potter, blonds
Strengths: smart, strong willed, creative
Weaknesses: roses, her friends, not very self confident
Worst Fear: dying
Life long dream?: live happily
Overall: Ariel is very enclosed upon herself. Over time, she has created a wall around herself, protecting her from heartache and pain. Little to no one has been able to penetrate that wall. There are a few cracks and dents in it, but it still stands strong. Sometimes the wall will fall, and she will lose all of her shields. But it is very rare.
She can be very carefree and happy, but most of the time it is usually a sedative or something that makes her that way. Most of the time, she is just quiet, and keeps her nose buried in books. Her relationships become sort of like a tight string, she is afraid to pull away because the string might break, beyond repair, so she tends to stick with any friends she makes.[/ul]

HISTORY
Parents: Abigail Craft, Chase Craft
Siblings: Matthew Craft, Seth Craft
Other: none
History: Ariel Phoenix Craft was born to Abigail Lynn Craft and Chase Alfred Craft on Febuary 15th. She was born 2 years after her older brother Matthew Chase Craft and two years after her own birth, her mother gave birth to her younger brother Seth. Her father was an alcoholic, and he constantly had an affair with his coworker. Three years after enduring all the heartache and misery her father brought her mother, Ariel watched as her mother stabbed herself.
After that, Ariel's father began to see things better. He stopped drinking, and stopped seeing his coworker. Her father took, Ariel, Matthew, and Seth to a new town. There she met Serenity Morgan. She didn't think anything of the girl, until she found out that her father didn't give up drinking. She ran away from home, and ended up staying in an old tree house. She was found by Serenity who had run away from her abusive father that night. The two began a friendship that helped them both survive. They became the best of friends. A friendship that has lasted all these years.
A few years after the move, Matthew and Seth ran away from home. Her father immediately disowned them, cutting them off from everything in their family, so it became a family of just Ariel, and her alcoholic father. She cried herself to sleep that night. [/ul]

SAMPLE
RP Sample: Ariel Phoenix Craft gazed down into the tinted windows of the car. Someone was inside those dark walls. She continued to stare, and didn't break her gaze into the window, until she felt a hand come down on her shoulder. Slowly her head turned and she saw her father standing behind her. Her eyes turned down, from his coal black eyes, to his hand. In it, he held a bottle. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes, then her gaze turned back to the car as the window began descending. Her breath caught in her throat as she stared into the violet eyes of the man sitting in the car. She knew him from somewhere, but she couldn't pin point it.
"This is your daughter?" The man in the car asked, his eyebrow raised, glancing at Ariel. Her eyes were the only thing that turned to her father.
"Yes. This is my daughter Ariel. She's in your hands now." Without warning, the door on the opposite side opened, Ariel looked at the door, then at the mysterious stranger, then at her father. Her father gently pushed her towards the other side of the car. She got in, after hearing his reassurance. The door closed behind her, and she looked behind the car and saw her father waving at her. She raised an arm to wave back, but as she did, she saw the authorities come up. He didn't fight back, instead they pushed him into the car, and he was hauled off to jail. She turned around and glanced at the floor of the car.
"Where are we going?" She breathed out, her voice faltering with every syllable that escaped her mouth. She didn't take her gaze off the rug on the floor. She heard the man sitting next to her shift slightly.
"I'm taking you to school. I am your guardian now. You're my adoptive daughter." All of this news was foreign to her. She tore her gaze away from the rug and looked at the man. "Your father didn't tell you? He signed the adoption papers this morning." So that's why he took so long in the office. Her hands clenched shut in fury. He kept something about her, from her. A few tears escaped her eyes as she shut them. "It'll be okay darling. You'll be able to live in the house you've always lived in. Just a change in authority." A big change was still a change. Ariel never did like change. She decided to tune the man out, and instead looked out the window. As the neared the school, her heart leaped. She was happy. Immediately her eyes scanned the area for any signs of Serenity Morgan, her best friend. When she saw her, she smiled. The car slowed to a stop. She smiled more, and stepped out. She grabbed her things and headed up.
"Serenity!" She called out happily. Her walls were down, she was carefree and happy. But still part of her, inside, was missing.[/ul]
