Overall:
Orion is a very one of a kind sort of boy, if you can even tell he’s a boy at all. In fact he makes good sport of fooling people into believing that he is a girl. Even though he isn’t much into acting he can play the part of a 16 year old girl flawlessly to the extent that he has gone on several dates with men who believed in every entirety that he was girl, and only so that he could get a kick out their reaction to finding that he is indeed male. When acting the part of a girl Orion is sweet, polite, bubbly even. Behind that façade he’s a seething, catty little hellion who would sooner turn his nose to a stray kitten than pet it and squash it to his chest. He’s sassy and isn’t afraid to say what he thinks in insult form.
Yes, Orion can be snobby, snottish and omnipotent, but this is also a façade. A social one with which he usually relates to people with and that is generally what people are friends with. Very rarely does anyone ever penetrate that mask which Orion puts up, however to the few that do they come to find a very loyal and honest friend. He is vehement in the defense of his friends and will adopt their ideals as their own if only to protect them that much better. However it can sometimes be difficult to get close to him, especially romantically. Orion doesn’t exactly fear commitment, however he is by no means looking for it and is prone to leading people on and cheating shamelessly.

History:
Amilene and Jamison Holt were the product of an arranged marriage and as such, they accordingly were distant and their relationship forced. Both were young and attractive however this did nothing to came them at all connected, yet they lived as husband and wife all the same. They had children, as many as was requested of their relatives, ending with three which had been a strain on both parties of the marriage to say the least. Jamison was rather detached from his family and stayed away on long trips, while Amilene spent her time with her children (despite being a careless mother) and with her boyfriends on the side. One could say that Orion took after his mother, since often times she would get ready for a date and Orion would stand next to her in front of the mirror, imitating her actions.
He grew up wealthy and part of a powerful family, so life was fairly cushioned for Orion, however when he was only nine years old Orion’s life took a sharp twist. Their home had been an extravagant and gorgeous one, not to mention the Holts never hesitated to show off their wealth just like Amilene never hesitated to show that she left her three young children alone at home while she spent her time reveling in the fact that she was beautiful. It wasn’t long until the house was broken into, presumed unguarded and with no one but children home. However that was not the case. Amilene had been preparing to get out and Orion had been striding ever so proudly into her room when he’d seen a man dressed in black standing in their hallway, a second climbing in through the window. Orion ran to his mother in her bathroom though in doing so had effectively cornered them both. The burglars followed Orion and his mother quickly thrust him into the bathroom and bade him curl up and make it so he couldn’t be seen. Orion could only cower in the large bathtub while his mother was robbed, abused and taken advantage of. Neither were ever the same again.
Ever since this incident Orion had become distant and Amilene couldn’t even bear to look at him. Not because she blamed him, but because the only one who saw her as anything but the strong, powerful and elegant woman was her oldest son. This left Orion cold, and both in efforts to recover himself and because his mother couldn’t look at him without remembering that night Orion was sent away to Providence Academy.

People watching should have been a sport and Orion could’ve been the judge. While originally he’d left his dorm with the intent to pick up a few things, Orion had become distracted by the open windows of the malt shop. He wasn’t enough of a queen to worry too much about his weight and more than half the store was littered with women who looked at their food in guilty shame anyway. He would fit in just fine. After striding in and ordering himself a milkshake which he was taking leisurely sips off of, Orion settled at a two person table in front of the window.
Sitting with one knee crossed over the other in an intentionally feminine manner, Orion shook back strands of black and white whipped hair that he hadn’t felt the need to fluff this morning. He eyed the people crossing the window shamelessly, his gaze not even faltering when people felt eyes watching and turned to look at him. They should know he was watching and they deserved to know by the look on his face if their outfit was well executed or just flat terrible. And good god, was some woman actually walking around carrying a puppy? “Tacky,” He muttered in disapproval. People shouldn’t carry their dogs around in a place clearly not meant for them unless they were a dog meant to be carried around and it was done tastefully. It was a cry for attention and it made Orion roll his eyes.
Honestly.
